That does suck but the web is coming to the point where “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” often leads to a consistent user experience. Don’t reinvent the wheel unless you have a better solution.

PCC’s website just gave me a couple thoughts (http://www.pccnaturalmarkets.com/). Yeah I know in the fyooture our refridgerators will know when we’re low on milk and will automatically order it to be delivered by teleportation but in the meantime I think we have some real options.

It would be sweet to have a web tool that could plug into whatever store you usually go to, Safeway or PCC for me, which you could make a printable grocery list from their products.

It would be sweet if it automatically set common or recurring products as easy to access and add to the list.

I love how PCC’s site has recipes that allow you to add the items to your shopping list.

It would also be sweet if you were notified of weekly specials and sales that were easy to add to the shopping list.

So many possibilities.
